Lighten, Brighten, Scrub and Tighten
Massage, Our BFF
Inner Peace at Qing Cheng Mountain
Lighten, Brighten, Scrub and Tighten
Ahh, coffee. The benefits of this daily morning companion go way beyond the usual pick-me-up. Coffee is full of antioxidants that are also good for your skin. From banishing puffiness and dark circles under your eyes to healing stretch marks and even blitzing cellulite (yes it’s possible!); getting down and dirty with a coffee scrub will purify, tone and revitalize your skin just in time for summer.
Why not book a coffee break with a twist when holidaying with Six Senses and say good-bye to those skin imperfections?
At Six Senses Spa Yao Noi, you will feel truly invigorated with a super Detoxifying Coffee Scrub using grounded Thai coffee to exfoliate the skin and Thai coffee clay to expel impurities.
Six Senses Spa Koh Kood follows your freshly prepared ground coffee scrub with a carrot, turmeric powder and coconut oil wrap to brighten, hydrate and tone your skin.
The Island Coffee Treatment at Six Senses Spa Con Dao uses Vietnamese Buon Ma Thuot coffee and local sea salt blended with carrot and coconut oil to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells. You can then luxuriate in a fresh coffee mask with citrus to detox and purify the body and smell absolutely gorgeous.
At Six Senses Spa Ninh Van Bay, green coffee takes the stage in a show-stopping performance against cellulite. This body treatment includes dry body brushing to exfoliate the skin and stimulate the lymphatic circulation, and continues with the application of green coffee concentrate to specific areas to smooth lumpy-looking skin before your whole body is wrapped in a detoxifying green coffee blend to hydrate and firm.

Massage , Our BFF
Go ahead and book that massage. Research tells us it’s good for us, so who are we to argue? In fact, you sometimes feel the stress melting away even before the therapist begins, as you settle on the warm massage bed in a beautifully scented and lit treatment room. Each sense is soothed while you engage in a moment of mindfulness, your brain releases feel-good chemicals, and any pain diminishes.
This year, our team of experts and skilled therapists has taken Six Senses Signature massages to yet another level addressing the most common modern concerns, while allowing space for each treatment to be adapted to your specific needs.
Want to release stress, ease muscle tension, boost circulation and improve mobility? Try our Deep Tissue Massage during which your therapist works therapeutically into deeper muscle layers, addressing triggers points with gentle pressure and release techniques.
Detox Massage is the energetic one with specific focus on the areas between the upper legs, glutes, lower back, hips and abdomen. It uses dry brushing and silicon cups to stimulate circulation, improve skin tone and elasticity, and help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
If full personalization is your goal, our Holistic Massage will meet your needs, or if you have concerns around mobility and flexibility, Movement Restoration Massage comes to the rescue. It combines pressure point techniques with gentle stretching to increase the range of motion and release built-up tension.
We also offer more targeted massages as well. Tension Soother is a reviving back, neck and shoulders massage, Relaxed Feet will take care of your feet with a fusion of massage techniques and the Head Massage is a deeply relaxing oil-based treatment to ease tension in the muscles and fascia of the head and upper body.
Our spas now incorporate a singing bowl ritual at the beginning of your treatment, so that your body is prepared to receive a positive healing experience. Using singing bowls for healing is based on the idea that a human body possesses a different resonant frequency. The body is in a healthy state when each cell and organ resonates in harmony with the whole being. When energy flow in the body is hindered, the affected area vibrates out of tune, causing illness. The sound frequencies created by the signing bowls restore the flow of this energy and bring about a state of well-being.
Available across Six Senses Spas worldwide, the only challenge is to choose which massage to start with.

Inner Peace at Qing Cheng Mountain
At Six Senses Spas, you will find an intuitive mix of science and awareness, and Six Senses Spa Qing Cheng Mountain enables you to discover the purity of Taoism incorporated into many treatments. Meaning “the way”, Tao considers all things to be unified and connected, just as our overall vision centers around reconnection with yourself and the world around you.
Our signature treatments include the Doayin Tao massage, which focuses on your face, neck and shoulders. This treatment is a powerful synergy of softened and adapted Chinese and stylized Western massage techniques to treat the energy disturbances that are at the root of health concerns.
As an addition you could try a 60/90-minute Tui Na manipulative hands-on therapy, which uses Chinese Taoist and martial arts principles in an effort to bring the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine into balance. As a complete healing system, it can be very effective in treating chronic pain, with conditions such as sciatica and “tennis elbow” responding very well, along with migraines, IBS, PMS and a whole range of emotional issues.
No stay at Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain is complete without an early-morning trip to Puzhao Temple, a Qing Dynasty Buddhist temple that took 200 years to complete. Its deep-rooted history and unique feng shui makes it a magical retreat to perform Tai Chi, which has numerous health benefits including lowering blood pressure and improving sleep quality.
Known as meditation in motion, Tai Chi focuses on the healing properties of qi (life force). Through gentle movements and focused breathing, the mind becomes relaxed and the body strengthened. Your one-hour practice is led by a Tai Chi master, who has trained under Liu Sui Bin, one of the most famous Tai Chi grandmasters in China. After the exercise, you can replenish at a Zen tea ceremony in the temple’s tea house, followed by a Chinese vegetarian breakfast with organic fresh juices.
